Being smart is really hard. There may be people with high IQs who have an easy time in life, relationships are simple, work and school are a breeze, and they long ago addressed the existentialist questions that some of us might carry with us until the very end.

The highly intelligent have also been shown to be more prone to mental health disorders, especially depression and anxiety. They may fixate on the negatives, churning them over in their minds and activating a stress response in the body. Here are some truths about genius people. 

People with higher IQs are less likely to be happy because they are too smart to be happy for no reason. People around you don't know themselves, they're lonely.

Prone to self - criticism. Smart people can often see through themselves. They often recall bad things they did before and start criticizing themselves.

The mentality is easily unbalanced and can't find happiness in small things. Even the simplest things they always overanalyt.
