Reality TV star, business mogul and social media sensation Kylie Jenner has been named by Forbes as the world’s highest paid celebrity of this year, as she reportedly raked more than $590 million last year through her endorsement deals & business ventures.

23 year old Kylie  was named the highest-paid celebrity in the world, beating out American rapper runner-up Kanye West, who is married to her half-sister Kim Kardashian, topped Forbes' annual list of highest-paid celebrities for the year 2020.

Following in the top ten were several sports stars including footballers Christiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Neymar, as well as tennis ace Roger Federer and basketballer LeBron James. American actor and filmmaker Tyler Perry, radio star Howard Stern, and actor Dwayne Johnson were also featured in the top ten names on the list.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the entertainment industry, this year's combined total of $6.1 billion was $200 million less than that of 2019. This year marked the first drop in combined celebrity earnings since 2016.

However, Jenner was the only female to be named in the top ten of Forbes’ list.
