Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan major reshuffle in Federal Cabinet and appointed Sheikh Rasheed as Interior Minister on Friday.
This is the fifth time Prime Minister Imran Khan has reshuffled the federal cabinet since assuming office in 2018. All the appointments were confirmed by PTI’s Senator Faisal Javed, who is a close aide of PM Imran Khan.

Before the new changes in the cabinet, Sheikh Rasheed was managing his duties as Federal Minister for Railways, Azam Swati was serving as Federal Minister for Narcotics Control and Ijaz Shah was handling the post of Federal Minister for Interior.
However, Azam Khan Swati has been made Federal Minister for Railways while Ijaz Shah will serve as Federal Minister for Narcotics Control from now.
