Wedding ceremonies can cost more than the GDP of a small country, in some cases. For the elite few, weddings should be lavish and grand.

A few days ago, one of the most extravagant weddings of this year 2020 happened in Pakistan. The wedding has many tremendous performances including by famous singer Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

The Lavish wedding was Master Tiles‘ director Sheikh Muhammad Iqbal's daughter and Jalal Sons‘ son. They tied the knot in the biggest and splendid wedding in Pakistan. The wedding ceremony took place in Rosa Blanca Club, in Lahore and the decorations were handled by KS Concepts. Photographer Irfan Ahsan provided the families with gorgeous portraits at the event.

But after that tremendous wedding, The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Monday asked Master Tiles to explain expenditures incurred on the wedding ceremony of the director’s daughter.

Gujranwala’s chief commissioner of Inland Revenue served notice to Master Tiles Director Sheikh Muhammad Iqbal about extravagant expenditure made on the ceremony.

A notice, under section 176 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, has been issued to the above to ascertain withholding tax and legal action will be taken accordingly, the FBR stated.

Needless to say, this wedding was beyond magical and something you would not even find in the movies.
